Cardiff Pink Slip
Need to register your vehicle or get it roadworthy? Skaza’s Automotive offers fast, certified pink slip and blue slip inspections in Cardiff for cars, utes, 4WDs, and light commercial vehicles. A pink slip (eSafety Check) is required for vehicles over five years old before you can renew registration in NSW, while a blue slip is necessary for unregistered vehicles to be inspected before being registered again.
Our experienced team performs thorough safety checks and mechanical inspections to make sure your vehicle meets roadworthy standards. If any issues are found, we’ll walk you through what needs fixing with a clear, no-pressure quote. Once passed, your pink slip or blue slip is sent directly to the RMS for fast, seamless processing.

Whether you're bringing a car back onto the road or just keeping your rego current, our inspections are efficient, accurate, and customer-focused from start to finish.
What is the difference between a pink slip and a blue slip?
A pink slip, also known as an eSafety Check, is required for vehicles over five years old that are currently registered in NSW. It confirms the vehicle is safe for continued registration. A blue slip is for vehicles that are unregistered or have been brought in from interstate — it involves a more comprehensive inspection, including identity and design compliance checks.
How long are pink slips and blue slips valid for?
Both pink slips and blue slips are valid for 42 days from the date of issue. This means you need to complete your vehicle registration within that time frame, or you’ll need a new inspection. If you’re unsure about timing, it’s best to book your inspection close to your registration due date.
What happens if my car fails a pink or blue slip inspection?
If your vehicle doesn’t pass, you’ll be given a detailed report outlining what needs to be repaired. You then have 14 days to get the repairs done and return for a free re-inspection. If you wait longer than 14 days, you’ll need to pay for a full inspection again.
